Stanneshelper Floor Coating connects homeowners with independent local coating providers. Providers in our network operate their own businesses. They assess surfaces and decide what work they can offer.

Know who you are speaking with

An initial conversation concerns your referral request. Confirm who you are speaking with and whether you have reached the independent provider who may quote the work. Ask for that provider's business name and contact details before arranging a visit.

The request form is a simple starting point. If you prefer the phone, Request a callback to discuss your request during Mon-Fri 9am-9pm ET. Phone hours do not establish a provider's working hours or appointment availability.

Gather details without disturbing the surface

A provider may ask about floor size, existing paint or coating, and visible cracks. Mention any water near the slab, including dampness that appears after storms. Photos can help explain the layout, though they may not answer questions about the concrete itself.

You can also describe access through the garage or basement and any heavy items that need moving. Ask what to leave in place until the assessment. Avoid scraping a sample or testing chemicals without project-specific advice.

Ask for a clear scope

Use the estimate conversation to understand the job:

• How will you assess moisture and the existing surface?
• What preparation and crack repairs are included?
• How will dust and nearby belongings be managed?
• What finish texture suits the way I use this space?
• When can I walk on the floor and park a vehicle?
• What exclusions and payment terms should I read?

Ask the provider to record the answers that affect price or scope in the written quote.

Choose when you understand the proposal

You decide whether to hire the provider. Review the proposed products, preparation, and exclusions before agreeing to the work. Clarify who handles questions during the project and any concerns afterward.
